Design and construction of a part single level part two level basement comprising Family Room, Media Room, Bedroom and Steam Room

The client appointed Cranbrook following a referral by a work colleague.

This ambitious basement project included a two story element which provided direct access from the front garden to the basement.

The centrepiece of the basement construction was a helical floating stair flight with curved balustrade.

The floor-to-ceiling height within the construction basement was 3.6 m.

The entire construction process was undertaken by the Cranbrook site team including installation of specialist floor finishes, complex bathroom equipment and electronic lighting.
