Design and construction of basement comprising Family Media Room, Guest Bedroom, Bathroom and Utility Area

The client brief required the completion of a wide-ranging refurbishment programme incorporating not only the construction of a basement but also works to the existing upper floors.

Access to the basement construction zone was achieved via removal and reinstatement of existing ground floor concrete slab coupled with the provision of warm water underfloor heating

The Cranbrook site construction team ensured that the entire build process was closely coordinated with teaching staff at a local primary school to avoid deliveries at the beginning and end of the school day.
